UNIBATCH is a comprehensive job scheduling system for UNIX.UNIBATCH enables users to initiate, monitor, and control the execution ofjobs in a batch/background environment. A job can consist of one or moreprograms, be made up of a number of other jobs, be run immediately, helduntil released by the user, deferred until a specified time/date, and bedependent upon the successful completion of another job(s). Oncesubmitted to UNIBATCH, jobs are controlled through a series of easilyunderstood screens and simple-to-use ring menus. Users have the facilityto abort a job, resubmit a job, change priorities, and more.
